Content is king. Everyone says so.
Does content really call all the shots or is this phrase just another marketing gimmick?
To create great content, you need to let your imagination run wild.
Eight things you can do to create better content are:
Research:
Research the topic of interest. Understand the subject and the goal behind your writing. What do you hope to achieve? What values do you to hope to achieve? Use textbooks, use the internet, use history books, and use quotes. Be interesting and entertaining.
Write creatively:
Be creative. Capture the interest of the reader and build momentum. Use your researched information to build an interesting story. Take it little by little and step by step. Increase your pace with every point you give. Build the body of the article with enough information. Give credible and useful information.
Plot the article properly:
In an article or story, the plot is important. There should be an introduction and a conclusion. The introduction should have an element of interest, something that makes the reader keep reading. It can be a quote, a story or a joke. It should have a body and a conclusion that rounds off the points.
Use word content:
The use of words being strung together in prose or essay form is a general idea. You must have the capacity to use your words to inform, entertain or titillate. Whatever the strategy that you embrace, be skillful. Let your readers read your content and let their imaginations become active.
Use video content:
The use of video content is relatively new but is useful for enhancing the information being shared. Journalists use video to communicate and give clarity to the subject they are writing on. You can use a professional camera or your mobile phone. Make sure there is a lot of natural light so that the video is bright and of good quality, then use your captions to communicate any further information.
Use bright pictures:
Bright pictures give you more credibility and are a great part of a perfect article. Use bright and clear pictures with high resolutions. These come out brighter and attract more attention. You can take original good quality pictures with our phone or use pictures on the internet and credit the owners.
Give credit:
When you use quotes or parts of a story in your article, are thorough and give credit to the poet, author or photographer of the work of art that you use. Giving credit is the mark of a professional.
- Edit using software:
Make use software called Grammarly to check your grammar. Install this tool on your system and it automatically checks the articles you write on the spot. Use any of the anti-plagiarism tools to confirm that your article is plagiarism-free. You can add any of these tools to your writing itinerary.
